We are seeking a highly skilled HGV 1 Shunter Driver to join our team at Staffing Match Careers. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating HGV 1 vehicles to transport goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HGV 1 vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols
- Monitor and maintain vehicle condition, reporting any issues to the maintenance team
- Collaborate with other logistics team members to optimize transportation routes and schedules
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
- Valid HGV 1 license
- Excellent knowledge of transportation regulations and safety protocols
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
Benefits
- Competitive hourly rate of £17.26 for hours worked up to 20:00, Monday to Friday
- Competitive hourly rate of £20.32 for hours worked from 20:00 onwards, Monday to Friday
Working Hours
Monday to Thursday: 18:00 - 02:00
Friday: 14:00 - 22:00
