Maintenance Engineer Opportunity

Cubiq Recruitment is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Oldham. As a key member of the production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the site's machinery and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering support for production activities, including planned preventative maintenance and breakdowns
  • Maintenance and repair of machines such as packers, flow wrappers, box erectors, over wrapping, sheeters, extruders, mixers, and conveyors
  • Provide electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and process maintenance cover
Requirements:
  • Time-served mechanical/electrical engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3 minimum
  • At least 3 years' experience in the FMCG industry
  • PLC fault-finding experience
  • TIG welding
  • Understanding of pneumatic systems
