Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced B2 Licensed Engineer to join our team at Stansted Airport. As an Aircraft Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of Ryanair's fleet, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest standards and in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Routine Servicing and Defect Rectification: Supervise and coordinate the routine servicing and defect rectification of Ryanair's fleet, ensuring that all work is carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Aircraft on Ground (AOG) Recovery: Lead the recovery of aircraft that are grounded due to technical issues, working closely with the maintenance team to resolve the issue and return the aircraft to service as quickly as possible.
  • Maintaining a Safe and Compliant Working Environment: Ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to all company procedures, policies, and regulations.
  • Supervision and Mentoring: Supervise and mentor Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

  • Qualifications and Experience: Hold a valid EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B2 License, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft line maintenance.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
  • Good IT Literacy: Have good IT literacy, with experience of using AMOS or similar maintenance management systems.
