We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive Procurement Data Analyst to join our team at Mercedes-Benz Cars. As a key member of our procurement team, you will play a crucial role in collecting, processing, and analyzing procurement data to support decision-making and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Procurement Data Analysis: Develop and maintain dashboards to track procurement metrics and KPIs, conduct spending analysis, supplier performance analysis, and market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend improvements in procurement processes.
- Contract Negotiation: Represent Mercedes-Benz in the UK to all suppliers, maintain contract condition negotiations with suppliers, and collaborate with procurement management, finance, and IT teams to integrate data from various sources.
- Process Optimization: Foster collaborative relationships with regional enablers in Procurement Headquarters to ensure effective connection between the UK purchasing organization and headquarters in terms of process updates and applications.
- Contract Management: Have a sound understanding of contract law and legislation, coordinate the creation of complex agreements with Legal & Compliance Departments and Internal Business Partners, and complete and coordinate negotiation processes of contract terms, excluding commercial conditions.
We are looking for a highly numerate and analytical individual with a high level of expertise in Data Analysis tools like Excel, Power BI or Tableau, and experience in PowerPoint and other presentation tools to demonstrate results effectively. A degree in fields such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related fields is required.
