Job Summary:
Barker Munro Recruitment Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Handler to join their team in Kent. As a key member of the SME commercial team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients and insurers, handling day-to-day enquiries, and supporting the Account Executives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with insurers to resolve queries and issues.
- Assist with claims handling and provide excellent customer service.
- Support the Account Executives in their daily tasks and activities.
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of insurance products and services.
- Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business objectives.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in broking or underwriting, preferably in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of insurance products, including CAR, PI, D&O, Property, Combined, Office, Travel, Bonds, and Warranties.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Desire to learn and develop new insurance skills.
