Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner - Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care

We are seeking an experienced Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join our team in Paediatric Cardiac Intensive Care at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, leading clinical practice, and contributing to the development of our service.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing expert care to children and young people with complex cardiac conditions. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team, including consultants, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert clinical care to children and young people with complex cardiac conditions
  • Lead clinical practice and contribute to the development of our service
  • Work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Contribute to the development of our service, including quality improvement initiatives and research projects
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members
Requirements
  • Registered as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner with the relevant UK statutory regulatory body
  • Minimum of master's degree in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent
  • Experience of working in a paediatric cardiac intensive care environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
