Block Manager Job Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Block Manager to join our team at PMR. As a key member of our block management division, you will be responsible for managing a small portfolio of residential blocks, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations and delivering exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of residential blocks, overseeing statutory compliance processes, including Section 20 notices, Annual General Meetings (AGMs), and service charge budget setting.
  • Liaise with leaseholders, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.
  • Assist in the growth and development of the block management division by contributing ideas and strategies for expansion.
  • Provide support to senior management as needed, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the block management sector is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of S20, AGM procedures, and service charge budget setting.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • A proactive mindset, ready to take on new challenges and learn from experiences.
  • Relevant qualifications such as TPI or RICS are advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience using Blockman (pref.) and Excel (essential).
