About the Role

The Home Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our care home, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care and support. This includes managing a team of care staff, coordinating care plans, and maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of care staff to deliver high-quality care and support to residents
  • Develop and implement care plans that meet the individual needs of our residents
  • Ensure the care home is maintained to a high standard, including cleanliness, safety, and maintenance
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure the efficient operation of the care home
  • Build and maintain relationships with local healthcare agencies, community groups, and professionals
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A nursing qualification and experience working in an elderly care setting
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with residents, staff, and external partners
  • Able to work autonomously and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about delivering high-quality care and support to residents
