About the Role

The Plant Supervisor will be responsible for managing and overseeing the operations of our Readymix plant, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise the RMX operational plant, ensuring compliance with business policies and procedures.
  • Manage daily production, including operational costs, stock control, and customer delivery.
  • Drive operational performance through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Take responsibility for the safety and well-being of contractors, customers, and business partners.
  • Maintain site housekeeping to a high standard.
  • Batch concrete to meet customer needs while meeting internal quality requirements.
  • Manage the budget for the plants under their responsibility, including fixed and variable costs.

Requirements

  • Experience in plant operations, with training provided for the right candidate.
  • Previous experience in a Readymix/Aggregates environment, with product training provided for the right candidate.
  • Full knowledge of Risk Assessments and Safe System of Work Systems.
  • Working knowledge of production processes.
  • H&S and Environmental policies.

Desirable Qualifications

  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • NVQ in fixed and mobile plant operations
