About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and organized Farm Secretary to join our client's team in providing administrative support, bookkeeping, and ensuring efficient office operations. The role is diverse and varied with responsibilities across all areas of the business.

Main Responsibilities
  • Fortnightly payroll preparation and management
  • Preparation of accounts to trial balance and financial statements
  • Invoicing of sales, reconciliation of despatches and contracts, and payment of accounts as required
  • Preparation of the Farm Valuation for the accountant
  • Administration of VAT and auto enrolment
  • Timely and accurate completion of a range of records, including physical sales, ACCS, and cattle documentation
  • Comprehensive use of farm management software
  • Assisting the Farm Manager with audit preparation and general protocol work
  • Records and rental payment management
  • Licenses and insurance administration
  • Office organization and filing
Requirements
  • Experience in accounting and computer literacy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Competitive salaried remuneration
  • Expected 25-30 hour week
