About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated PSHE Teacher to join our team at Longdon Hall School, an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 7-18 with a wide range of social, emotional, and mental health needs.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a first-class education to each student, promoting their progress and development within the curriculum area, and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the professional duties of teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accountability for student progress and development within the curriculum area
  • Maintenance of an up-to-date knowledge and understanding of the professional duties of teachers
  • Contribution to the development, implementation, and evaluation of policies and practice
  • Provision of a first-class education to each student through professional development and role modeling
  • Work with senior leaders to identify, plan, deliver, and evaluate targeted interventions

Qualifications:

  • Grade C or above in Maths and English and subject-specific qualification
