This exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and confident Occupational Therapist to join the East Sutherland Integrated Health and Social Care Team. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work across both ward and community settings, with a strong focus on re-ablement.

To be successful in this role, you will hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the Health and Care Professions Council. A broad skill mix or the willingness to expand your skill set is essential, as is the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective communication, organisational, and time management skills are also crucial.

Based at Migdale Hospital, you will be expected to work across our sister hospital in Golspie and the surrounding remote and rural community. Regular supervision and support will be provided, as well as opportunities for self-development through annual appraisals and personal development plans.

You will be responsible for the supervision and day-to-day workload management of Band 4 assistants and will have the opportunity to support student placements. A UK driving licence is essential, and a pool car will be available, although applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes if required.

This is a permanent full-time post of 37 hours per week, worked in accordance with service requirements.
