Job Title: Senior Quality Advisor and Field Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quality Advisor and Field Team Leader to join our team at Cpus Engineering Staffing Solutions Inc.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating project issues in the field, acting as a senior quality advisor, and ensuring compliance with OPG's ECC Process (Engineering Change Control). They will also coordinate the clarification of design and specification requirements, participate in the preparation of specifications and bid packages, and support the preparation of scope of work documents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate project issues in the field and act as senior quality advisor
  • Coordinate the clarification of design and specification requirements
  • Participate in the preparation of specifications and bid packages
  • Support the preparation of scope of work documents
  • Review construction contractor labour estimates, schedules, and execution plans
  • Provide oversight of construction contractors' integrated project schedules
  • Maintain close liaison with construction contractors on matters involving conventional and nuclear safety
  • Perform regular field walk downs to ensure compliance with OPG and OHSA safety and quality standards
  • Support evaluation of vendor proposals and contracts
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant work experience within project engineering
  • Previous Darlington Project Management experience preferred
  • Refurb quality control experience preferred
  • Ideal candidates will have worked in a Nuclear Engineering environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to lead meetings and give presentations
  • Experience and/or willingness to interface with vendors
  • Strong interest in fast-paced, challenging work environments
  • Proven track record on delivering results
  • Strength in understanding, executing, and following governance and procedures
