About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Home Manager to join our team at Bupa. As a Home Manager, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a multi-disciplinary team to provide outstanding, personalised care to our residents.

You will be managing all aspects of the home, identifying business opportunities while effectively managing budgets, taking responsibility for the operating profit of the home, and ensuring regulatory compliance is maintained across all relevant areas.

Competent in creating and developing strong internal and external relationships, you will play an important role in strengthening the Bupa brand as a trusted healthcare partner with key audiences including Local Authority and Primary Care Trust commissioners.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to provide outstanding, personalised care to residents
  • Manage all aspects of the home, including budgets and regulatory compliance
  • Identify business opportunities and develop strategies to achieve them
  • Develop and maintain strong internal and external relationships
  • Ensure the home operates within budget and meets regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • Strong clinical knowledge and expertise, plus an LMCS, RMA or equivalent management qualification
  • Ability to develop an environment which focuses on continuous improvements
  • Effective communicator, with a confident and influential leadership style
  • Ability to work out of hours or evenings as required

Our home is a 15-minute walk from Northwood train station and is easily accessible via public transport. With a real family feel, the team are passionate about providing person-centred care, championing dignity and independence - organising bespoke activities for our residents including entertainers and parties for special events.

Set in a tranquil location and recently refurbished, designed with our residents in mind, the home offers residential and nursing care including care for those living with Dementia.
