Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 night trunk driver to transport goods from our depot in TN22 5RB to hubs in Birmingham nightly. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe and efficient driving, as well as excellent knowledge of road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive safely and on time, adhering to traffic laws and regulations
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety concerns
  • Maintain accurate driving logs and records
  • Transport loaded vehicles to appropriate hubs, tip and load, and return to depot
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a commercial driver
  • Ability to drive long distances while maintaining focus and alertness
  • Excellent knowledge of road safety regulations
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and colleagues
  • Physical fit
