About the Role:

Aeropeople Limited is seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Electrical Power Systems Definition team, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in defining the system elements required to feed into the submarine design and build process.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage an engineering team to deliver the functional design and definition of Electrical Power Systems equipment
  • Manage the processes and reviews of technical documentation
  • Manage associated technical risks, assumptions, and dependencies
  • Provide advice on electrical power technical aspects across a broad range of engineering disciplines
  • Engage with customers and suppliers to provide solutions to complex problems
  • Take a leading role by guiding the team through the systems definition process
  • Provide leadership and mentoring of more junior team members to ensure the necessary capability and skills development

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified Electrical Engineering or equivalent Engineering background
  • Engineering Chartership required (or equivalent experience demonstrated)
  • Significant knowledge of AC and DC electrical power systems
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Team Leadership experience
