About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Manager to join our team at Talent Finder. As a Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our pub, including front and back of house.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all pub operations, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of drink quality, food safety, and customer service.
- Assist with recruitment, training, and development of the team to ensure they have the knowledge and skills needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Follow and uphold company procedures to ensure compliance with licensing law, security, and health and safety regulations.
- Identify opportunities to increase sales and growth, and implement strategies to achieve targets.
- Monitor room occupancy and booking rates, and create offers and promotions to increase room sales.
- Work closely with the housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are of an excellent and consistent standard.
- Assist with monitoring and managing all communication, including emails and customer feedback.
- Ensure that health and safety standards are maintained, including regular fire risk audits.
- Employ the 'Best for Business' ethos, leading by example with a hands-on approach to training and development.
- Carry out kitchen inspections on a regular basis to ensure compliance with EHO standards.
- Assist with all ordering, stock control, rotation, and wastage.
- Help motivate the team and drive the business forward, creating a sense of pride and achievement among staff.
