About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated individual to contribute to our Infection Control team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. This role offers a dynamic environment with diverse responsibilities, providing opportunities for growth and development within a supportive team.

You will play a vital part in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff by implementing infection prevention protocols and conducting fit testing procedures. Your commitment to accuracy, attention to detail, and strong communication skills will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct and monitor fit testing for FFP3 masks, ensuring staff are adequately protected against potential health hazards.
  • Collaborate with the Infection Control team to implement and maintain infection prevention strategies within the hospital.
  • Provide training and education to staff on infection control practices and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to fit testing and infection control activities.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent organizational and communication skills. A strong commitment to patient safety and a willingness to learn are essential qualities for this role. Previous experience in healthcare is desirable but not mandatory, as comprehensive training will be provided.
