We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner (Level 3) to join our client's growing Nursery team. As a key member of the team, you will contribute to the development of the service and the children.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a minimum of a Level 3 Childcare related qualification and a strong knowledge of EYFS frameworks and safeguarding. You will be responsible for supporting the Room Leader in the day-to-day running of the designated room and nursery, acting as a Key person to a number of children, and planning and delivering activities that align with the EYFS curriculum.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Room Leader in the day-to-day running of the designated room and nursery
- Act as a Key person to a number of children
- Assist with the preparation and maintenance of resources and equipment in the indoor and outdoor areas
- Complete observations and ensure that these are recorded accordingly
- Plan and deliver activities that align with the EYFS curriculum
- Build strong relationships with parents and keep a strong line of communication with them
- Adhere to internal and external policies and regulations
- Report and record all incidents, as well as promote a culture of safeguarding
