Job Title: Band 5 Nursing Team Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Band 5 Nursing Team Leader to join our team at West Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our nursing team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing team, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Communication: Develop and maintain effective communication networks across the multidisciplinary team, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
  • Clinical Supervision: Provide clinical supervision to nursing staff, ensuring that they are competent to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Education and Training: Develop and deliver education and training programs for nursing staff, ensuring that they are equipped to deliver high-quality patient care.
  • Quality Improvement: Identify areas for quality improvement and develop strategies to address these, ensuring that patient care is consistently high-quality.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Registered Nurse with a valid NMC registration.
  • Experience: Proven experience of working in a nursing leadership role, with a track record of delivering high-quality patient care.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of nurses.
