QuEST Global is a leading engineering services firm with a strong presence in the nuclear industry. We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Reactor Design Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design and development of nuclear reactors, with a focus on reactor core design and analysis. This will involve working closely with our team of experts in reactor physics, fuel performance, thermal hydraulics, and criticality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop reactor core models to support ongoing design decisions
  • Interpret findings from reactor physics, fuel performance, thermal hydraulics, and criticality analyses
  • Collaborate with the Core Design team to ensure accurate and efficient design solutions
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, business, and legal requirements and procedures
Requirements
  • MSc in nuclear reactor physics or nuclear engineering (or corresponding relevant work experience)
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills
  • Ability to work well in a project team in a business setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Skills
  • Good communication in English (oral & written)
