About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Graduate to join our team as an Aspiring Clinical Psychologist / Autism Support Assistant at a reputable educational institution. This role offers a unique opportunity to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting, supporting vulnerable children with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work alongside teachers and specialist staff to provide support to students with learning difficulties, including autism, sensory impairments, physical difficulties, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and associated challenging behaviors.
  • Collaborate with Occupational Therapists, Speech and Language Therapists, Psychologists, and Counsellors to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with students, families, and colleagues to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of individualized support plans to meet the diverse needs of students.

  • Able to remain calm and resilient when placed in situations of stress or conflict.

  • Motivated and enthusiastic, with a professional approach to work.
What We Offer

  • Competitive daily rate of £80-£85.
  • Term-time only, Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 15:30.
