We are seeking a reliable and self-motivated Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of facilities, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Operate a variety of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning goals and objectives.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and managers to ensure a smooth and efficient cleaning operation.
- Comply with Health & Safety regulations and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
About You
We are looking for someone who is naturally friendly, has good written and verbal communication skills, and is able to work independently and as part of a team. Previous cleaning experience is desired, but not essential. You will be required to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays, and may be required to work at short notice.
