Job Overview

Position Summary

The Certified Mobile Clinical Research Nurse is a flexible, on-demand role within PCM Trials. This position entails coordinating appointments within designated timeframes to conduct mobile visits for participants involved in clinical studies. Collaboration with Clinical Project Managers, Coordinators, and site staff is essential to ensure visits are completed efficiently and that accurate source documentation is submitted.

We are seeking Registered Paediatric Nurses (RSCNs) who possess current competencies in venepuncture and phlebotomy; proficiency in these skills with the paediatric population is mandatory for consideration.

Essential Qualifications

A minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Paediatric Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid, unrestricted Paediatric NMC PIN.

At least two (2) years of experience in performing Phlebotomy/Peripheral Blood Draw. Familiarity with IVs and Subcutaneous Injections (preferably practiced within the last six months) is advantageous.

One (1) year of experience in collecting vital signs, ECGs, urine samples, and conducting urine pregnancy tests.

Proficient in maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, including medical history and medication documentation.

Strong observational, verbal, written communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Current CPR certification (BLS, PILS, EPALS, or equivalent) is required.

A current vaccination record must be maintained.

A full, clean driving license and access to a personal vehicle are necessary.

Contract Type: Zero hours contract

Compensation: £36.00 per hour

Expected Working Hours: Ad-hoc shifts based on your availability and protocol requirements.
