About the Role

Coulter Elite Resourcing is seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join their team in a full-time permanent position. As a Credit Controller, you will be responsible for identifying outstanding debt and organizing priority for collection, liaising with sales teams and customer service to resolve disputed invoices, and chasing overdue invoices within agreed timescales.

Main Responsibilities
  • Identify and prioritize outstanding debt for collection
  • Liaise with sales teams and customer service to resolve disputed invoices
  • Chase overdue invoices by telephone and email within agreed timescales
  • Negotiate and maintain payment plans where applicable
  • Investigate and defend chargebacks
  • Follow up on failed CPA payments
  • Maintain aged debt spreadsheets and provide weekly reports to the Head of Finance
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations
  • Allocate payments received through the bank and Stripe
  • Process refunds
  • Perform other ad-hoc sales ledger duties as required
Requirements
  • Ensure debtor lists are reported accurately and updated on a daily basis
  • Ensure debt collection procedures are closely adhered to and outstanding client balances are tracked
  • Communicate effectively with sales ledger managers, sales teams, and customer service managers at all stages
  • Reduce company debt
  • Perform sales ledger administration and reports
