The Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Data Centre team in Manchester. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for managing multidisciplinary projects, providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers, and working closely with clients to deliver successful projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and deliver mechanical engineering projects from feasibility to completion
  • Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and deliver successful projects
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure successful project delivery
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices

Requirements

  • BSc qualified in Mechanical Services Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Chartered Engineer status via an appropriate professional institution such as IMechE or CIBSE (or international equivalent)
  • Excellent design and technical skills and experience in design analysis software
  • Experience of working within a BIM environment using Revit with knowledge of parametric design is beneficial
  • Familiar with managing small teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects
