About the Role

This is a leadership role within the Cyber Security team at BT Group, where you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and direction to the team. As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be expected to lead by example and demonstrate expertise in Agile and ITIL processes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide leadership on Agile and ITIL processes, advising team members on best practices and supporting them from a 3rd Line Lead perspective.
  2. Develop and maintain policies, functions, and configuration builds to support the implementation of customer projects.
  3. Ensure the security and integrity of sensitive customer information, maintaining BT's reputation as a trustworthy organization.
  4. Develop a strong technical knowledge of BT's products and services.
  5. Collaborate with the Security Optimisation Manager and Network Security Operations Manager to structure, support, and develop the team.
Requirements
  1. Experience in Security Operations from a 3rd Line perspective.
  2. External Professional Certification in a Security-related discipline, such as Fortinet NSE 4, Cisco CCNP, or Checkpoint CCSE.
  3. An intimate knowledge of Networks and Network Security.
  4. Ability to support the team with day-to-day working operations, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  5. Willingness to undergo Government Security Clearance to SC level, which requires residence in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.

Flexible Working
