About the Role
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shift Leader to join our team at Tesco. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate the team to deliver a clean, well-stocked store that exceeds customer expectations.
- Provide excellent customer service, listening to customers and helping to resolve any issues.
- Take ownership of running duty shifts, ensuring that the store is operating efficiently and effectively.
- Coach and develop your colleagues, providing feedback and guidance to help them improve their performance.
- Maintain a great understanding of how the store is performing, and assist managers in delivering actions to improve the store's performance.
- Lead by example, setting a high standard for your colleagues and demonstrating a commitment to excellence.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive rate of pay, starting from £14.28 an hour, with opportunities for increases based on location and skills. We also offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours per week, with opportunities to work fewer hours if desired.
