**The Opportunity**

We are currently seeking a highly skilled C&I Engineer to join our Operational Technology Team under the Asset Excellence department. As a member of this team, the C&I Engineer will provide engineering solutions and support to contribute to the safe delivery of upper quartile performance for wind generation assets.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Design and implement control and instrumentation system hardware and software solutions
  • Develop and integrate new solutions to deliver remote asset supervision and control
  • Provide expert knowledge of PLC operation, programming, and management
  • Ensure compliance with industry-specific cyber security requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions
  • Communicate complex engineering problems in non-technical language
  • Create comprehensive technical documentation

**Requirements**

  • Expert knowledge of PLC operation, programming, and management
  • Expert knowledge of a broad range of communication protocols used in SCADA systems in the electricity generation industry
  • Knowledge of wind farm internal network topology, design, and maintenance
  • Knowledge of latest industry-specific cyber security requirements
  • Working knowledge of safety legislation specific to electricity generation industry in the UK
  • Understanding of O&M contracts and specifically being able to understand technical scope
  • Confident and articulate communicator
  • Proficient in creating comprehensive technical documentation
