Mobile Plant Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Engineer to join our team at Path Recruitment. As a Mobile Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy construction equipment, ensuring it is in excellent working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair heavy construction equipment, including diagnosing faults and performing routine services.
  • Carry out breakdown, service, and repairs on heavy plant equipment at customer sites.
  • Perform routine services on plant equipment, including screeners, crushers, material handlers, excavators, telehandlers, and similar equipment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Mobile Plant Engineer, Mobile Plant Fitter, Recycling Plant Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Plant Mechanic, or Plant Technician.
  • Full UK driving license.
  • Experience working on machinery such as balers, compactors, screeners, crushers, excavators, diggers, dumpers, or telehandlers.
  • Experience working with manufacturers such as Volvo, JCB, CAT, Komptech, Soilmec, HMF Group, Terex, or Finlay.
