We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Case Engineer to join our team at EDF Energy. As a key member of our Design Authority, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the nuclear safety case for the Sizewell C (SZC) project.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the verification of the Pre-Construction Safety Report (PCSR) to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical leadership in resolving challenging issues related to Licence Condition 14 compliance.
- Collaborate with various disciplines within the organization, including Nuclear Analysis, Engineering, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations.
- Develop and maintain the safety case, including the main Safety Report and EPR GDA Assessment.
- Proven experience in safety case development and verification, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Excellent technical leadership and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with multiple stakeholders.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
