Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Team Leader to join our Endoscopy team at East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and leading a team of nurses to deliver high-quality services.

The Endoscopy unit is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction. As a Nurse Team Leader, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the unit, including staff supervision, patient care, and quality improvement initiatives.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and services
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Endoscopy unit, including staff supervision and patient care
  • Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
  • Registered Nursing qualification on the NMC register
  • Nursing degree qualification or equivalent
  • GCSE Grade A-C in Math's & English or skills level 2 math's & English or equivalent
  • Commitment to lifelong learning
  • Ability to produce a personal professional portfolio
  • Mentorship/preceptorship training
  • IT skills
Desirable Criteria
  • Recognized management training/course
