Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our client's team in the West Midlands. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing production and process manufacturing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain and repair all production and process manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  2. Undertake tasks in line with maintenance requisition requests, prioritizing urgent and critical issues.
  3. Conduct PPM (planned preventative maintenance) tasks as required to prevent equipment failures and downtime.
  4. Participate in on-call duties as and when required by the engineering rota, providing 24/7 support to ensure business continuity.

Requirements and Experience:

  1. Proven experience in a maintenance or engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  2. Strong understanding of maintenance systems and electronic maintenance management systems (CMMS), with experience of using such systems an advantage.
  3. Time-served engineer with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  4. Experience of working in a GMP environment, with a strong understanding of regulatory requirements.

A competitive salary of £48,000 + OT, a 4 on 4 off days and nights shift pattern, and the opportunity to work with a well-established and highly regarded client in the industry.
