About the Role:
Arc Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their team in a leading law firm in Huddersfield. As a Conveyancing Legal Secretary, you will provide administrative support to the department, assisting with the preparation of legal documents and liaising with clients, solicitors, and estate agents to manage the conveyancing process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide secretarial and administrative support to the department
- Assist with the preparation of legal documents
- Liaise with concerned parties to manage the conveyancing process
- Ensure personal and departmental deadlines are met
- Draft correspondence and emails
- Manage incoming and outgoing post
- Answer telephone calls and respond to queries
Requirements:
- At least 1 year's experience working as a legal secretary - preferably within conveyancing
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
- Ability to work well under pressure and ensure deadlines are kept
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
