Multiskilled Maintenance Specialist

Key Responsibilities

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Technician at Axéréal, your primary role will be to ensure the optimal functioning and safety of all production machinery, thereby reducing equipment downtime.

Your duties will encompass:

  • Executing both corrective and preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Conducting repairs on production and processing machinery, as well as related utility equipment.
  • Assisting in the installation of new machinery.
  • Documenting all maintenance activities thoroughly.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
  • Engaging in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Adhering to all relevant procedures, regulations, and policies.
  • Reporting any unsafe practices and utilizing required personal protective equipment.
  • Demonstrating flexibility in work hours based on operational needs.
  • Being available for on-call duties outside of standard working hours.

Qualifications Required

Candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Proficiency in both electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards.
  • Fluency in Dutch or English.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Experience in machinery repair and maintenance within the food or beverage manufacturing sector.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and experience working within a team environment.
