Job Title: Test and Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Test and Commissioning Engineer to join our team in Portsmouth. As a key member of our CMS2 team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality testing and commissioning services for our air purification equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up, configure, and test complex process equipment to ensure compliance with customer standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform pneumatic and hydraulic pressure testing of high- and low-pressure vessels under PED compliance.
  • Conduct electrical testing, including low and high voltage circuits, insulation resistance, and earth bond testing.
  • Fault find, diagnose, and solve electro-mechanical systems issues.
  • Develop and improve test methodologies, including prototyping, to increase efficiency.
  • Maintain an issues log for lessons learned and support continuous improvement.
  • Travel to various sites across the country to support the UK Nuclear Program (CASD) and occasionally abroad to support overseas customers.
Requirements
  • Hold an NVQ/HNC or higher qualification in engineering or an apprenticeship in a relevant engineering field.
  • Previous test and commissioning experience in a highly regulated industry, such as process engineering.
  • Strong commitment to health and safety, environment, and quality.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents, including process engineering drawings, specifications, and procedures.
  • Good hands-on electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and under pressure in a challenging environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and flexibility.
