This role allows you to work with a variety of vehicle brands and different service centers.
Venatu Recruitment Group is currently in search of a qualified mechanic with an MOT certification in Stourbridge. The position is based in a dealership that is part of a well-established public limited company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections, maintenance, servicing, and repairs of vehicles to ensure they meet road safety and reliability standards as per DVSA regulations.
- Perform retail service tasks and manage stock maintenance as part of daily operations.
- Repair and maintain vehicles according to manufacturer specifications and schedules.
- Diagnose and rectify mechanical issues effectively.
- Carry out MOT tests in compliance with VOSA standards and complete the necessary documentation.
- Maintain job cards, service records, and associated paperwork to a high standard.
Qualifications Required:
- Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Automotive Engineering.
- Current MOT tester certification.
- Considerable experience working as a mechanic.
