Job Title: Lead Business Strategist - Real Estate

Working Style: Hybrid 50% home/office based
We are in search of a Lead Business Strategist to enhance our Real Estate division on a permanent basis in London.
The successful candidate will report directly to the Property COO and will be accountable for optimizing operational effectiveness and managing risks within the Property function, alongside supervising a team of five professionals. This managerial role is designed to adapt as business requirements evolve, focusing on four key areas: governance of the property team, business management, operational support, and fostering process enhancements and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with relevant stakeholders to provide comprehensive support to the Property Team regarding governance, risk management, and regulatory compliance related to investment management and real estate.
- Deliver regular reports and management insights to the Property COO and Head of Property concerning team-wide activities.
- Oversee essential relationships with service providers for the Property Team and the funds under management.
- Assist the Property COO with project initiatives, including the development of new products or business strategies.
Candidate Profile
- Proven experience and knowledge of the property sector and the typical frameworks for holding property assets.
- Exceptional collaborator, capable of engaging with diverse personnel and teams to proactively support business objectives.
- Strong commitment to risk management principles.
- Proficient in both numerical and verbal reasoning skills.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Extensive experience in investment operational roles.
- Excellent communication abilities, with the confidence to adjust engagement styles to meet the needs of various stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and readiness to engage directly as situations necessitate.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities in team management.
