Position Overview

Daytime Class 2 Transport Operator

We are seeking a dedicated Class 2 Transport Operator to undertake daytime shifts for our esteemed client situated in the Bicester region on a continuous or flexible basis.

This position entails multiple drop-off deliveries.

An ideal opportunity for HGV Class 2 operators who are looking for consistent employment or prefer flexible scheduling.


Qualifications for a Class 2 Transport Operator

  • At least 24 months of recent HGV driving experience (Category C).
  • Ability to unload the vehicle as necessary.
  • Possess a valid British Driving Licence, Full CPC, and DIGI tachograph.
  • Proficient in manual handling, as heavy lifting is a requirement for this position.
  • Outstanding customer service abilities, as this role involves direct interaction with clients.
  • No more than 6 penalty points (excluding DR, DD's, or IN).
  • Must have appropriate personal protective equipment - High Visibility clothing and Safety Footwear.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle inspections.
  • Exhibit flexibility and ensure safe completion of delivery routes.

Compensation & Additional Information:

  • Starting Pay Rate: Competitive (PAYE)
  • Minimum guaranteed pay for 8 hours
  • Shift Schedule: Monday to Sunday
  • Complimentary parking available on-site
  • Location: Bicester Region
  • Employment Type: Ongoing / Flexible
