Accountancy Graduate Scheme

This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to embark on an entry-level position in a well-established Accountancy Practice in Leicester. We are seeking a motivated and ambitious individual who aspires to become a fully qualified accountant in a fast-paced and structured environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare financial statements, business plans, commentaries, and budgets for management or client reports
  2. Conduct regular audits, involving the examination of the organisation's accounts, analysing risk, inspecting current practices, investigating financial irregularities, and recommending improvements
  3. Review, implement, and adapt new and existing financial systems and controls
  4. Produce and analyse annual and monthly accounts
  5. Manage expenditure, credit, payroll, and investments
  6. Advise clients on areas of business improvement

Requirements:

  1. Must have a 2:1 or above in Accountancy, Maths, Economics, or Business
  2. Proficient spreadsheet and ICT skills
  3. Ability to work to tight deadlines
  4. Good written and oral communication skills
  5. Commitment to high standards of service delivery
  6. A professional approach and can-do attitude
