Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to enhance our commercial team and support projects in all aspects of our business. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for administering the quantity surveying function on our projects, ensuring commercial compliance and managing subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend site as required to ensure commercial compliance is being followed.
  • Issue applications and invoices on time, accurate, and in adherence to contract terms.
  • Review weekly operational reports for commercial tracking.
  • Provide contractual and commercial assistance on projects, including attending progress meetings and assisting with programme management under NEC projects.
  • Commercially manage subcontractors, including placing orders and certification of applications, management of change, and agreement of final accounts.
  • Resolve client financial or contractual issues and disputes, and final account projects.
Requirements
  • Experience in civil engineering, groundworks, or land remediation.
  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar industry-recognized qualification.
  • 3+ years of post-graduate experience, ideally on-site.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Ability to demonstrate financial and commercial acumen for value and cost management.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to change, with effective teamwork skills.
