Job Summary:
Alexander Mae (Bristol) Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Case Handler to join our team in Clevedon. As a Case Handler, you will be responsible for managing cases efficiently from providing nominations, instructing experts, and arranging appointments to sourcing medical records and obtaining reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate nominations to solicitors through thorough assessment of case details.
- Instruct accredited medico-legal experts to cases in line with company service level agreements and solicitor specifications.
- Liaise with professionals such as solicitors, accredited medico-legal experts, and claimants to ensure seamless case management.
- Coordinate and manage the booking of appointments, ensuring claimants are informed through various means of communication.
- Ensure instructed medico-legal experts have all necessary paperwork, including medical records.
- Obtain reports in a timely manner and complete necessary checks to ensure reports are compliant with Civil Procedure Rules and fit for purpose.
- Undertake training in areas of case management to ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of communication with all parties on the database to retain a full communication trail.
- Build relationships with solicitors through effective communication, providing regular updates on case progress.
- Ensure deadlines are appropriately diarised, communicated, and tracked.
- Work collaboratively with the team to complete daily allocations, workflows, and meet performance expectations.
- Demonstrate planning and organisation of own time, prioritising and completing daily allocations and workload.

Working Hours and Location:
This is a full-time position, and the successful candidate will be based in Clevedon, North Somerset.
Salary:
The salary for this position is £23,000.
