Job Title: Cloud Software Developer

Sensata Technologies is seeking a skilled Cloud Software Developer to join our Antrim-based team. As a key member of our cross-functional team, you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining our Sensata cloud platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and deploy highly scalable microservices into the cloud.
  • Participate in the design, implementation, and release of highly robust mobile applications.
  • Utilize various languages and tools to integrate different systems.
  • Organize all aspects of the software product life-cycle, from initial software requirements capture to implementation, testing, and release.
  • Collaborate with other team members to establish best practices and maintainable processes.
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years' experience building great software using JavaScript, Java, and Kotlin.
  • Web browser technologies, such as CSS3, HTML5, and AJAX, and the principles of responsive design.
  • Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) and automated deployments using Elastic Beanstalk, Docker, and Ansible.
  • Implemented RESTful/JSON web services and understands agile methodologies, SCRUM, and continuous integration.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ionic mobile app framework.
  • Knowledge of Leaflet libraries.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript charting libraries.
  • Developed telematics, analytics, or mapping applications.
