About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable firm in Exeter as an Audit & Accounts Senior. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing a varied client portfolio, working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure deadlines and budgets are being met.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse client portfolio, collaborating with senior team members to achieve project goals.
- Prepare statutory financial statements for Limited companies and Charities, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Lead Companies Act audits, including planning, fieldwork, completion, and stock take attendances.
- Oversee junior staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality work.
- Prepare letters and reports related to audit and financial statements, maintaining clear and concise communication.
- Prepare corporation tax returns for Limited companies, ensuring timely submission.
- Build strong relationships with clients, proactively addressing their queries and concerns.
- Lead WIP reporting for your portfolio, maintaining accurate recording and filing.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve services.

Requirements
- AAT/ACA/ACCA part-qualified or AAT Level 4 studying.
- Recent practice experience, including statutory audits, group audits, and consolidated financial statements.
- Self-motivation, reliability, and a drive to deliver technical knowledge.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Commercial business acumen and a willingness to learn.
