Salary: £162 - £251 Per day
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver engaging science lessons to students, promoting a love of learning and academic excellence.
- Develop and implement curriculum and lesson plans, ensuring alignment with national standards and school goals.
- Assess and evaluate students' progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
- Supervise laboratory work and experiments, maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities, staying up-to-date with best practices in education.
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field, with a strong foundation in science and pedagogy.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), demonstrating a commitment to teaching and learning.
- Proven experience as a Science Teacher, with a track record of success in the classroom.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Postgraduate qualification in Education, with a specialization in science education.
- Experience working with diverse student populations, with a focus on equity and inclusion.
The Science Educator will work in a school setting, following the academic calendar. The role may involve working evenings or weekends for extracurricular activities or parent-teacher meetings. The educator will be required to adhere to school policies and regulations.
