Contract Planner - Facilities Management

CBW Staffing Solutions is seeking a dedicated Contract Planner to join our team. This role involves collaborating with key clients to ensure efficient scheduling and management of maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the planning and scheduling of both preventive and corrective maintenance tasks within the facility.
  • Engage with vendors, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate maintenance operations.
  • Track and report on the progress of maintenance activities to relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and operational protocols during all maintenance activities.
  • Maintain the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS) with accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Identify critical equipment, evaluate risks, and implement preventive strategies.
  • Regularly review and optimize maintenance plans and schedules to enhance resource allocation.
  • Participate in disaster recovery planning and execution.
  • Coordinate with teams for both planned and emergency shutdowns to minimize operational disruptions.
  • Continuously enhance the maintenance scheduling process and benchmark against industry best practices.
  • Conduct Asset Management Reviews to ensure accurate asset assignments in the CMMS.
  • Update the maintenance planner, addressing any delays or issues for discussion in review meetings.
  • Attend weekly and quarterly maintenance and KPI meetings.
  • Provide general assistance to maintenance teams and engineers.
  • Support on-site audits and reporting activities.
  • Travel to various sites as needed to provide support to other planners.
  • Perform any additional duties as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline such as Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the facilities management or building operations sectors.
  • Strong understanding of facility infrastructure, including HVAC, fire suppression systems, electrical systems, and UPS.
  • Exceptional organizational, project management, and planning capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of interacting effectively with all organizational levels and external partners.
  • Proficiency in CMMS or similar software; experience with Maximo or SNOW is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations applicable to facility management.
  • Certification in facilities management or related fields is a plus.
  • Willingness to be on-call for emergency situations outside of regular hours.
