About the Role

Hays Construction and Property is seeking a highly experienced Senior Water Project Manager to join their team in Birmingham. As a Senior Water Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing civil works on water schemes in the Midlands area, with a strong pipeline of work in the water sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Planning and managing a portfolio of projects from inception through to completion
  • Conducting safety tours for all on-site works
  • Holding accountability for complex internal and external stakeholder engagement and management
  • Preparing and managing project management plans
  • Leading on financial reporting and post-contract management
  • Proposing and agreeing on contract strategy with key internal stakeholders

Requirements

  • Experience of delivering civil works from inception through to completion in the water (clean water or wastewater) industry
  • Knowledge of CDM regulations
  • Experience in procurement and post-contract management
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills
