Overview of the Role:

The finance testing division is undergoing significant changes and requires a proactive leader to advocate for quality assurance practices.

This position entails close collaboration with various IT roles and senior business stakeholders while considering the implications for users and our clientele.

You will mentor team members, leading through guidance and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous enhancement across the organization. As the leader of the Project testing team, you will manage, coach, and inspire the testing team to ensure resources are effectively allocated to achieve project objectives. You will develop the testing strategy, focusing on optimization, efficiency, automation, and reviewing and approving testing documentation, including Test Scope, Test Scenarios, and Test Completion Reports.

Your responsibilities will include identifying and mitigating project testing risks, ensuring that clear and actionable mitigation plans are established and followed, and being accountable for evaluating and reporting precise, timely testing metrics and dashboards. Additionally, you will be responsible for providing test evidence to confirm that acceptance criteria are met and escalating issues when necessary. You will also ensure that project risks are accurately reported.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Proficiency in system development life cycle methodologies, with a focus on implementing quality engineering metrics that enhance efficiency, automation, and quality improvements.
  • Experience in establishing quality engineering standards and frameworks, implementing best practices, asset libraries, test data, and tooling strategies.
  • Comprehensive experience in both functional and non-functional testing, including performance, security, and accessibility assessments.
  • Strong understanding of how to identify and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies related to quality engineering standards and frameworks.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders and the quality engineering community by fostering collaboration both within and outside the organization, and effectively communicating complex ideas and management information to diverse audiences.
