Job Title: Stock Control Clerk

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Control Clerk to join our team at the Window Systems Division. As a Stock Control Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of our stock portfolio across multiple sites using Microsoft Dynamics Navision (WMS). Your primary goal will be to improve efficiency within the current team to safeguard stock and operational processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate inventory control practices to ensure stock levels are up-to-date and accurate.
  • Conduct periodic inventory counts and assist in stock takes to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Verify the correctness and condition of customer orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Investigate customer order discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
  • Assist with stock-taking activities and maintain detailed records of shortages and damage items.
  • Support the Operations team in their duties and contribute to a positive and engaged workforce culture.
  • Operate with the highest levels of integrity, support, and cooperation with your team, peers, and other internal and external contacts.
  • Adhere to all organizational policies, management systems, and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental, and Quality.
  • Represent the organization in a positive manner to maintain a strong corporate image.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or retail environment is preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of using an ERP system may be beneficial.
  • MHE driving experience is not essential but would be beneficial.
  • A friendly and hard-working disposition is essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • Excel knowledge – basic/intermediate user.
