Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pilot Plant Lead Engineer to join our team at BOSS Energy Consulting LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the commissioning and operation of our DAC (Direct Air Capture) pilot plants, working closely with our manufacturing and project partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the commissioning and operation of DAC pilot plants, ensuring seamless integration with our manufacturing and project partners.
  • Deliver plant test campaigns, operate plant equipment, and track plant activities to support process development and future plant design.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical systems, ensuring optimal plant performance.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair procedures on electrical and mechanical systems, including production equipment and plant systems.

Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge of PLC and motor controls, with the ability to work from schematics.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to support plant operations.
  • Extensive experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance, preferably in gas-solid reactor or handling systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and ensure optimal plant performance.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, with a strong understanding of root cause analysis.
  • Strong HSE knowledge and experience, with the ability to develop and instigate company safety and operational procedures.
